APO Community & Education Programme

workshopOn 18th May 2013 APO will be holding a FREE workshop for primary school aged children to experience a full sized symphony orchestra and its instruments close up. Children will get the opportunity to listen to an orchestra, join in by helping us compose some music and also participate in arts and crafts activities related to the theme of towns, cities and transports.

*** UPDATE *** The workshop is now full but we are building a reserve list in case anyone drops out. From 4pm, anyone is welcome to attend the mini-performance at the end of the workshop, and the ‘try an instrument’ session, even if they haven’t been to the full workshop. To add your child/children to the reserve list, you can still complete our registration form.
