APO at ‘Art After Dark’ – part of the Reading Thames Festival

Having played the Are You Listening?, Reading Fringe and Down at the Abbey festivals, this summer, APO is not done yet! On the evening of Thursday 26th September, a small string ensemble will present a very informal performance on the transfer deck of Reading station as part of the Reading Thames Festival.

The performance will be part of the ‘Art After Dark’ event, which is a trail which will bring Reading’s waterways, town centre, heritage quarter and university alive with artworks and pop-up performances in an array of locations. It aims to be accessible for a broad audience, giving people and visitors the chance to discover different places across the town and explore its hidden histories and architecture.

We’re delighted to be making a small contribution with our very informal performance. It will start at 7.30pm and run for about 90 minutes. To access the transfer deck at Reading station, ask the gateline staff to be let through to see the event (but do not board a train without a ticket!).
